Some FAQ’s
Grounding and isolation are critical to site safety — here are the answers engineers rely on when specifying our systems.
-
Both kits retrofit easily to cantilever, slide, and roll gates, and integrate with standard 2” chain-link or other common fence systems —including VANQUISH systems. The Trolley Ground Kit can also be installed alongside gate operators by adjusting the support-post placement.
-
Trolley Ground Kits eliminate the common failure point of fixed conductors that fatigue or kink during gate movement — reducing electric-shock risk and ensuring the gate remains safely bonded during fault events. ISO Kits prevent dangerous potential transfer between energized and non-energized fence sections, enhancing worker safety and protecting adjacent property.
-
The Trolley Ground kit includes the trolley ground connector, mounting angles, tensioning hardware, 55’ of 19/9 copper-clad wire, stainless-steel double braided strap, grounding clamps, and a powder-coated support post with cap. ISO Kits arrive unitized with dielectric panels, posts, hardware, and for-construction drawings.
